Books for Dessert
Books for Dessert is an adult book club (21+) for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who live, work, or attend day programs in or around Port Washington; sessions begin with cookies and coffee and the group includes readers from their early 20s to late 70s. It meets 11/23/26 from 10:30am–11:45am in the Hagedorn Meeting Room at Port Washington Public Library, and collaborates with AHRC, Community Mainstreaming Associates (CMA), and The Nicholas Center.
