Books for Dessert
Books for Dessert is a book club for adults over 21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities who live, work, or participate in a day program in or around Port Washington; sessions begin with cookies and coffee. Founded more than 20 years ago, the group — whose members range from their early 20s to their late 70s — meets in the Hagedorn Meeting Room on 10/19/26 from 10:30am to 11:45am and collaborates with organizations such as AHRC, Community Mainstreaming Associates (CMA), and The Nicholas Center.
