Community Legal Help
On 10/07/26 from 1:00pm–3:00pm the Community Legal Help Project will offer free limited legal advice and assistance for low-income Nassau County residents in the 1st Floor Program Room of the Main Library. Issues covered include Bankruptcy; Child Custody; Child Support; Consumer/Debt Collection; Criminal Records; Divorce; Domestic Violence; Elder Law; Foreclosure; Immigration; Landlord and Tenant/Housing; Public Benefits; School Discipline/Educational Services; Social Security, SSI and Medicare; and Veterans.
