PWPL Walking Meetup
PWPL Walking Meetup: Join PWPL staff and friends from the Bryant Library on 10/08/26 from 10:00am–11:30am to explore the Hempstead Harbor Shoreline Trail, meeting at the trail start in North Hempstead Beach Park by the small gazebo in the parking lot next to the Manhasset Crew Team's storage. The trail is 1.92 miles one-way (almost 4 miles round trip), with smooth and wood-chip surfaces, fairly flat with some light hills; bring your own water, sign an exercise waiver prior to meeting at the trail, and register in advance (registration opens 09/28/2026 at 9:00am and closes 10/08/2026 at 10:00am). Rain date: October 15.
