Books for Dessert
Books for Dessert meets 11/02/26 from 10:30am to 11:45am in the Hagedorn Meeting Room at Port Washington Public Library. It is a book club for adults over 21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities who live, work, or participate in a day program in or around Port Washington; sessions begin with cookies and coffee. The group, founded more than 20 years ago, includes readers from their early 20s to their late 70s and collaborates with AHRC, Community Mainstreaming Associates (CMA), and The Nicholas Center.
