Books for Dessert
Books for Dessert meets 10/29/26 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in the Hagedorn Meeting Room at Port Washington Public Library. It is a book club for adults over 21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities who live, work or participate in a day program in or around Port Washington; sessions begin with cookies and coffee. The group, founded more than 20 years ago, includes readers in their early 20s through their late 70s and collaborates with AHRC, Community Mainstreaming Associates (CMA), and The Nicholas Center.
