Books for Dessert
Books for Dessert is an adult book club (ages 21+) for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who live, work, or attend a day program in or around Port Washington; sessions begin with cookies and coffee. The group, founded more than 20 years ago, includes readers from their early 20s to their late 70s and collaborates with AHRC, Community Mainstreaming Associates (CMA), and The Nicholas Center.
