Books for Dessert
Books for Dessert is an adults-only (21+) book club for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who live, work, or attend a day program in or around Port Washington; sessions begin with cookies and coffee and the group’s members range from their early 20s to late 70s. The club, founded more than 20 years ago, meets in the Hagedorn Meeting Room and collaborates with AHRC, Community Mainstreaming Associates (CMA), and The Nicholas Center; for information contact Kate Monsour at 516-883-4400, ext. 1302 or monsour@pwpl.org.
